Shelby County Parks and Recreation Facilities
Together, Shelby County and the city of Shelbyville operate park sites in twelve locations, covering over 900 acres of land! These sites offer facilities with a range of activities for every park visitor. Playgrounds, an outdoor education center, a fitness and an aquatic center, a dog park, a horse arena, nature trails, hiking trails, horse-riding trails, adult and youth sports programs, shelter and picnic areas, lakes with fishing access and a canoe launch are all just a small part of our award winning parks.
