Interstate 64 maintenance work in Franklin and Shelby Counties on October 12
Louisville, KY (Oct. 11, 2017) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of maintenance work this week on Interstate 64 in Franklin and Shelby Counties. KYTC crews will resume trimming trees that are blocking signs along I-64 East.
The right lane of I-64 East will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 12 from 6 p.m. until midnight. The work zone will begin at mile marker 45 in Shelby County and extend to mile marker 48 in Franklin County.
In addition, the exit ramp from I-64 East to KY 151 (Exit 48) will be closed that evening from 8 p.m. until midnight for tree trimming along the ramp.
