Shelbyville, KY – January 17, 2017- Shelby County 109 Taxing District is accepting bids for the Landfill Mowing Project at the following two locations:
Shelby County Landfill,1570 Kings Highway, Waddy, KY 40076 and Shelbyville Landfill, Wastewater Road, Shelbyville, KY 40065.
Sealed bids must be received no later than 4:00 PM EST. February 3, 2017 at the Shelby County Judge Executive’s Office, 419 Washington Street, Shelbyville, KY 40065.
Bids must be marked “Landfill Mowing Project.”
Scope of Project: Contract shall remain in place from the time of 109 Board approval to December 31, 2018. “Mowing of all locations Listed”. Mowing shall take place two (2) times a year as follows:
First mowing between April 15th & May 15th (Weather Permitting)
Second mowing between September 15th & October 15th (Weather Permitting)
Interested parties may pick up a “Landfill Mowing Bid Packet”
at the Shelby County Judge Executive’s Office, 419 Washington Street Shelbyville, KY or the Shelby County Recycling Facility, 170 Windhurst Way, Shelbyville, KY. This bid package will include a copy of the contract
outlining the contractor's responsibilities.
Winning Bid for mowing of all locations may be awarded during the February 10, 2017 109 Board meeting held at the Shelby County Recycling Facility, 170 Windhurst Way, Shelbyville, KY 40065.
The 109 Board has the right to deny any or all bids they feel are not in the best interest of the 109 Taxing District.
