Shelbyville, Kentucky (April 14, 2017) -The Triple S Planning Commission will hold a Public Open House on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 to gather community input for the Shelby County Comprehensive Plan.
The Comprehensive Plan is a planning document prepared and adopted by the citizens and officials of Shelby County and its cities. The plan is intended to provide a long range guide for the public and private sectors of the County and its urban areas.
Do you have ideas about where growth in Shelby County should occur over the next two decades? Do you have ideas about road improvements or where new roads should be constructed? If so, then join us on April 26th at the Stratton Community Center (215 Washington Street) to learn more about the Comprehensive Plan and record your thoughts and ideas for this vision for Shelby County.
Everyone is invited to attend, so bring your kids and friends along with you! The meeting will be an open public workshop where you can stop by for as little as 15 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
